# TT Battle: Swansea City’s Borja Baston vs Nottingham Forest’s Lewis Grabban

**Swansea City are looking to continue their [unbeaten](https://www.skysports.com/championship-table) start to the season when they face a tricky Nottingham Forest side.**

Under Steve Cooper, the Swans have been totally revamped and look destined to challenge for a promotion place this season.

Nottingham Forest too have a new manager – Sabri Lamouchi – and have lost just once so far this season.

A challenging and competitive game it is sure to be, but who has the quality to separate them?

[Borja Baston](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/swansea-city/top-scorers) and [Lewis Grabban](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/nottingham-forest/top-scorers), their respective clubs’ current top scorers, will certainly have something to say as they aim to continue their impressive run of form.

But who will come out on top on Saturday afternoon?

**Borja Baston**

With [five goals in six games](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/borja-baston/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/85324), Borja Baston has already equalled the amount of goals he scored last season when on loan with Alaves in La Liga.

[Questions](https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/any-way-back-borja-baston-16511863) have been asked about whether the 27-year-old could make a successful comeback to Swansea, but he has started and delivered in every Championship game so far this season.

His surprise impact means that Swansea occupy [1st place](https://www.skysports.com/championship-table) in the league and so long as he keeps performing, there is no reason why the Swans couldn’t stay there for the rest of the campaign.

**Lewis Grabban**

A seasoned veteran in the Championship, Grabban has yet again hit the ground running this season.

The 31-year-old has scored [four goals in six appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/lewis-grabban/profil/spieler/35413) and continues to lead the line brilliantly.

His natural goalscoring ability is amongst the best in the [league](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/championship/top-scorers) and Nottingham Forest are lucky to have such a reliable player they can turn to.

**Verdict**

Because of the limited options Nottingham Forest have apart from Lewis Grabban up-front, he wins this corresponding contest.

Grabban scored [16 times](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/lewis-grabban/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/35413/plus/0?saison=2018&verein=&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=) last season in the Championship and may need to reach that feat again in order for the Reds to be in and around the hunt for promotion.

Borja Baston is certainly enjoying a purple patch of form, but can he keep it up all season long? That’s the question.
