Arsenal fans are seriously frustrated with Shkodran Mustafi

Being an Arsenal fan is a hard job at times.
Trophies are hard to come by, rival fans constantly abuse the club for performances on the pitch, and Shkodran Mustafi plays for the club.
The German World Cup winner has been an entertaining player to watch for neutrals since he washed up on English shores from Valencia in 2016, and Mustafi’s latest antics have got Arsenal fans calling for his departure this summer.
With the international break well underway, Unai Emery decided to take the players and youngsters who weren’t called up for their countries to some warm weather training in Dubai, ending with a friendly against Al-Nasr Dubai SC.
Mustafi started the game, and within 15 minutes the Gunners were a goal down after a mistake from the German defender led to the UAE club taking the lead.
Unsurprisingly, this led to quite the reaction online, with loads of Arsenal fans exploding into life to slam the defender on Twitter. See what they’ve had to say below:
Mustafi is being embarrassed. Making no case for himself at all so far.

Mustafi is a having a disaster class against Al Nasr, bin that as soon as the season ends, even if it means terminating his contract. Worst centre back at Arsenal in my life time and we’ve had some absolute shocking ones along the way.

Will throw a big party when Mustafi finally leaves.

I wonder how many goals Arsenal have conceded in the past few years with Mustafi lying on the floor somewhere on the pitch?

Despite the early horror show, Arsenal went on to win the game 3-2 with goals from Carl Jenkinson, Alexandre Lacazette and youngster Tyreece John-Jules.
