Following the aftermath of their humiliating 4-0 defeat to Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon, a number of Charlton Athletic fans took to Twitter to share their opinion that Naby Sarr was greatly missed and that he needs to make a swift return to the starting XI.

Lee Bowyer's side endured another horrendous trip to Yorkshire in quick succession as they saw their defeat to Sheffield Wednesday in midweek followed up by another one at the hands of The Terriers - although this one may have hurt a little more.

Former Addick Karlan Grant smashed two past the south Londoners, whilst Steve Mounie and Juninho Bacuna also added salt into the wound as they sit precariously above the relegation zone by two points with just 10 games of the season left to play (Sky Sports).

Sarr was unavailable for the game due to injury (per the club's official website) and perhaps that played a huge role in why Charlton were on the wrong end of a thumping. The 26-year-old has been a key part of Bowyer's defence when selected as he has gone on to make 23 Championship appearances and produced an average of 0.8 tackles, 1.2 interceptions and 3.8 clearances in those matches (per WhoScored).

Fans were quick to share their views that the club missed the centre-back and took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the matter.

Here are just some of their reactions...
