Leeds: Fans discuss Helder Costa’s form
Leeds United are really doing their best to make something of the race for promotion this season with their form tailing off and the door for those below them ever-widening.
The likes of Brentford, Fulham and Nottingham Forest are all looking keen to get themselves into the top two and with West Brom having the chance to win tonight, it’s the Whites who are currently most at threat of dropping out of the automatic spots.
A 1-0 loss at QPR on Saturday lunchtime ensured that their woes in the capital continued and fans are obviously concerned that once again they might end up falling short this season.
With that in mind, then, some of their players are coming under scrutiny at the moment and a fair few have been discussing Helder Costa – Marcelo Bielsa’s big summer signing from Wolves.

Shown a few glimpses but feel like he is holding back a bit for some reason. He's the type of Player who could easily be beating most FB's but instead chooses not to a lot of the time. Still believe he will become class for us but it's become a slow process.

He is just starting to show signs of the quality player he is. It’s probably taken him a while to settle in to the Bielsa system I think he will only get better & better every game he plays

Hit and miss. Shown quality at times but been poor at other times, I’m still hopeful he’ll prove worth the price tag. He seems to lack confidence especially when going into challenges (most likely because of his injury last season) so hopefully that will improve. Doesn’t help 1/2

Had a decent spell in the 7 game winning run. But not consistent enough, hasn’t really got out of second gear yet and only showed us in flashes of what he’s capable of.
