A number of Rangers supporters have criticised Ianis Hagi's performance in their win at home to St Mirren on Boxing Day.

After enjoying Christmas Day with loved ones, Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side were back in Premiership action today. It was St Mirren who made the trip to Ibrox looking to spring a surprise, with the Gers' opponents sitting ninth in the table before kick-off.

Meanwhile, Rangers went into the festive action knowing that a win would maintain their six-point lead at the top of the table and Van Bronckhorst's side did just that, cruising to victory at Ibrox.

However, one player who struggled at times was Hagi, with the Romanian being classed as one of the home side's poorest performers according to SofaScore metrics.

The 23-year-old won just one of his eight duels against the Buddies and failed to get a shot on target or make an interception. His tally of 24 successful passes was the fewest of any Gers outfield starter, while he also lost the ball seven times.
