Tottenham: Fans launch #BackPoch movement following comments - Twitter Talk

Despite beating Real Madrid 1-0 in the Audi Cup, the game was best remembered for Mauricio Pochettino’s post-match comments.

The Tottenham manager took aim at the Spurs board in a press conference via the Guardian for the lack of transparency between him and what transfer dealings have been going on in the background.

Pochettino even went as far to say that he should have his job title at the club changed from manager to coach, with the club making just two signings this summer (per Transfermarkt).

With the nature of the quotes, many Tottenham fans took to social media to back up Pochettino, with the hashtag #BackPoch quickly doing the rounds on Twitter as a way to rally behind the Spurs boss.

Here is what some fans had to say about Pochettino’s comments…

Tottenham have been linked with the likes of Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon (per Football London), yet have only added Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele to their first-team for next season for a club-record £53.6 million (per BBC Sport).
