### The Lowdown: Mitchell goes off

The 22-year-old has been a key member of Patrick Vieira’s squad during his first season in charge, [starting](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/tyrick-mitchell/leistungsdaten/spieler/730893) every Premier League game.

However, he had to make way against the Foxes after just 34 minutes with what appeared to be a calf problem, and along with [Michael Olise](https://www.football.london/crystal-palace-fc/players/michael-olise-injury-patrick-vieira-23628694), he could now be in a race against time to feature at Wembley.

He revealed that the full-back was due for scans on the problem on Monday, with Palace facing a nervous wait on the extent of the damage.

As mentioned, Mitchell has been an ever-present figure at Selhurst Park this season, so it would be a major blow if he is unable to feature at Wembley next weekend.
