Spurs are enjoying their best league season for years, and with seven league games remaining there is still a good chance that they could win the Premier League this season.

It has been 55 years since their last English title success and much of their success over the last couple of seasons has been the form of Harry Kane.

42 Premier League goals over the last two seasons is a record to match anybody else in the country at the minute.

Whether or not Spurs can maintain their current challenge over the next couple of seasons rests with Kane, but should they be able to attract a quality strike partner to go with him, then they really could be an unstoppable force.

Here we take a quick look at FOUR players that could line up next to Kane at Spurs.......

MICHY BATSHUAYI

The 22-year-old Belgian striker has been linked with a move to more than one Premier League club over the last couple of seasons.

Batshuayi is highly-rated throughout Europe who has the potential to be a real force over the next few seasons.

He is currently plying his trade with Marseille in Ligue 1 where he is averaging a little less than a goal every two league games, the same ratio as during his three-year spell with Standard Liege.

He has burst onto the national scene with two goals in his first two caps for the Belgian national team and looks set to have a big future in the game.

ROMELU LUKAKU

Could Spurs really tempt Lukaku to White Hart Lane?

What a signal of intent it would be if they could.

Everton are likely to be looking around the £50 million mark for a player that is being scouted by many sides throughout Europe at the minute.

It is difficult to remember that the Belgian is still only 22 years old but already he has over 100 career goals to his name.

He is one of the biggest threats in the Premier League and is an absolute nightmare for opposing defenders, so imagine what Spurs could do with Lukaku and Kane up front.

It does seem unlikely that it would happen anytime soon but if they could somehow pull it off then they would have the firepower to dominate English football.

ANTOINE GRIEZMANN

Griezmann

The Frenchman is another name on many people's lips throughout Europe.

The Atletico Madrid striker has 39 league goals in La Liga over the last season and a half and he looks set for a big future in the game.

He forged out a decent goal ratio in five seasons at Real Sociedad where the side traditionally struggled in La Liga before his move to Atletico in 2014.

He was part of the French side for the World Cup in 2014 and is now a regular in the France set-up.

JAVIER HERNANDEZ

Hernandez

How Louis van Gaal must at times regret letting Javier Hernandez leave the club last summer.

What a signing it would be, though, for Spurs if they could persuade 'the Little Pea' to return to England.

He scored some massive goals at United under Sir Alex Ferguson but didn't get a look-in under van Gaal.

He was firstly loaned out to Real Madrid before moving on permanently to Bayer Leverkusen last summer where he has set the Bundesliga on fire this season.

He is one of the most lethal finishers in Europe and was always called on by Sir Alex when his United side needed a goal.

Hernandez and Kane would be one of the most deadly strike partnerships in Europe were it to happen and Spurs would always know that they could outscore any side.
