The Daily Star is reporting that Eddie Howe is very happy at the club, and has no plans to leave the club whilst his working relationship with the hierarchy is so good.
Howe left Bournemouth for Burnley a few seasons ago, a move he admits he was not ready for, but returned to the South Coast to lead his Bournemouth side from the foot of League One to a place in this season’s Premier League.
Howe speaking to the press ahead of his sides game against Manchester City this weekend said “My stance has always been very clear.
“While I am enjoying such a good relationship with the owner and the people who run the club, I am very happy here.
“The job is an exciting and challenging one but I am absolutely where I want to be in terms of league and club.
“I am desperate to move this club forward even more and continue the success we have had.
“I never feel success or failure is final. I think you should always try to get better. To this point, it has been a brilliant journey and I feel there is a lot more to come.
“There are going to be setbacks and disappointments. It is all part of the job but you need to have a resilience and confidence in yourself that you can withstand the bad times and, hopefully, enjoy the successes.”
The landlord in The Transfer Tavern, firmly believes that Bournemouth have one of the best English managers in the game at present, and has tipped Howe to manage in England in the future.
The Cherries supporters here in the Tavern over by the pool table echo the sentiment of our landlord and feel he is a sensational manager, with them all feeling he will remain at the south coast club for many more years!
