Arsenal have finally started to get a grip on their season following a series of improved performances and results.
The Gunners once again got off to a miserable start to further enhance their reputation as slow burners, but manager Arsene Wenger has managed to get the squad back together and have them back to winning ways.
Our landlord though thinks there is still room for improvement in the Gunners squad, and he does not mean in terms of bringing people in, more from moving people out of the club.
One player he thinks has been a massive let down since his move to the Premier League has been Polish midfielder Granit Xhaka.
The big midfielder came with a reputation for being a midfield destroyer and looked to be the piece Arsenal had been missing in their midfield for some time. However, at over £30m, he has simply not lived up to his billing and it could well be time for Arsene Wenger to cut his losses.
January could represent the ideal time for the club to move Xhaka on, and with his reputation in Europe still mainly intact, the Gunners could recoup some of the money they paid for him with relative ease.
Arsenal simply need better if they are to compete for the title in England, and moving Xhaka on and finding a better replacement could well be the first step in this.
