Despite Eddie Howe vowing not to throw too much money around in the window, rumours have been flying around the Transfer Tavern today from the Guardian about a potential move for Norwich forward Lewis Grabban.
The 27-year-old would be a solid buy for the Cherries, following suggestions they might not have the cutting edge needed for the Premier League.
Despite an impressive attacking performance against West Ham last weekend, Bournemouth struggled to convert many chances in their opening two games, something that will have worried manager, Howe.
A move for Lewis Grabban, will add an extra element of competition for the impressive, young Callum Wilson and might just give Bournemouth that extra edge needed in the Premier League if Wilson fails from time to time.
Despite Grabban not necessarily being a big name forward that the Cherries fans may have been longing for all summer, if this deal is to go through he will definitely add a bit of bite to the attack – something that has got the Bournemouth supporting regulars down the Tavern in full flow!
