The Spurs fans in the Transfer Tavern have been responding to rumours (from Le Parisien) that PSG and France left-back, Layvin Kurzawa is close to leaving the Parisian club, with Tottenham a possible destination. Eighteen months ago Spurs fans would’ve turned their noses up at the Frenchman although, with the current decline of Danny Rose, Kurzawa would be a good addition to an ambitious Spurs squad.
The former Monaco man would be linking up with his national team captain, Hugo Lloris, if he were to join the Lilywhites and the Tottenham fans propping our bar up seem keen to get the left-back on board. Spurs tumbled out of the Champions League at the hands of Juventus earlier this month and a lack of experience in the knockout stages was put down as one of the reasons for Spurs demise in the competition. Kurzawa would bring that experience as he’s reached the knockout stages of the Champions League in all three of his seasons at PSG.
Tottenham face a defensive reshuffle in the summer as seasoned pros, Toby Alderweireld and Danny Rose both look set to leave N17, leaving positions to be filled by Mauricio Pochettino. The French left-back would be a superb option for the Lilywhites as he could rival Ben Davies for a starting place on the left of the Spurs back line. Settling into life in North London shouldn’t be too difficult for the French international as former PSG teammates Lucas Moura and Serge Aurier currently play their trade with Spurs, as well as Hugo Lloris and Moussa Sissoko from the national team.

It’ll be phenomenal if we sign Layvin Kurzawa and let Danny Rose go. 100% agree with you, Layvin is sooo much better than Rose
