Chelsea’s season is plodding along quite nicely, and although they have dropped some important points, they still do remain in with a shout of the title.
Man City’s lack of form has left a hole for other clubs to challenge, and despite Liverpool being top of the pile, there is a long way to go in the title race and Chelsea will be confident they can make a big impact at the top of the table.
The form of Eden Hazard has of course been the shining light for Mauro Sarri’s men this term, and the Belgian is still attracting attention from the likes of Real Madrid, potentially leaving a big hole in the Chelsea squad if the Blues do decide to sell.
And one man we at the Tavern think could well fill the gap is French winger Nabil Fekir, who has been in superb form for a number of seasons now for Lyon and looks ready to make the move to one of the big boys in the game.
Chelsea would be idea, and if Hazard is to leave, Fekir would be as ready made a replacement as they might hope to find.
Valued at a hefty £70m, the tricky winger would slot in nicely at the Bridge if given the chance. His goals, assists, and way of getting fans off their seat would go a long way to replacing Hazard if he does indeed decide his time with the club is up.
Chelsea fans, what do you think? Would Fekir be a good signing? Let us know in the comments!
