Could this legend be the man to replace Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal?

van gaalAfter seeing the likes of Angel Di Maria, Robin Van Persie, Radamel Falcao and very nearly David De Gea leave the club this summer, many pundits and fans a like have started to question the reign of Louis Van Gaal.

There are a fair few punters here in the boozy Transfer Tavern who are starting to question the Dutchman and his transfer policy – some tipsy supporters even questioning how much more time the former Ajax Champions League winning coach should be given at Old Trafford.

This being said, the reports coming from The Manchester Evening News today are fuelling the dislike for the tenure of current boss Van Gaal.

Long time United hero, David Beckham has publicly stated he hopes that Ryan Giggs, his former team mate and fellow member of the famous class of ’92, is given the managerial role, when Louis Van Gaal leaves.

Whether or not Van Gaal will leave or when this could happen remains to be seen, but with the amount of money spent this summer surely results will have to come sooner rather than later!
