Spurs fans here in the Transfer Tavern have been knocking back the pints in pure ecstasy following the latest rumour to break out.
With a severe lack of support up top for Harry Kane and West Brom recently rejecting Saido Berahino’s transfer request, amid ongoing speculation of a move, it will be music to the ears of the White Hart Lane faithful to hear that Levy looks set to splash the cash on a top striker.
According to the Evening Standard, Bayer Leverkusen have accepted a £22m bid from Spurs for striker Heung-Min Son, and although you may be thinking he is not a household name, his record speaks for itself – averaging just shy of a goal every three games.
At just 23-years-old, there is still room for improvement in those statistics and a partnership with Harry Kane may just turn out to be a masterstroke from Mauricio Pochettino.
Will this deal get the Spurs fans singing and dancing in the Tavern once again, only time will tell!
