England boss to ring changes for Slovakia game with as many as six fresh faces preparing to start

sturridge englandThe England supporters here in the Transfer Tavern have been a happy bunch since Thursday’s last-gasp win over Wales, which leaves the Three Lions finely poised to reach the knockout stages of Euro 2016.

Daniel Sturridge netted deep into stoppage time to hand Roy Hodgson’s men a 2-1 win over their Welsh counterparts, ensuring jubilant scenes here in the Tavern.

Tonight the England team take on Slovakia, knowing that a win will see them top the group and hand them a more favourable tie in the first knockout stage.

Our landlord has found an article in The Mirror which could knock some of those smiles of the faces of the England faithful however, with the paper reporting that England could make as many as SIX changes this evening.

Sturridge, Jamie Vardy, Jack Wilshere, Nathaniel Clyne, Ryan Bertrand and Jordan Henderson could all come into the side as Hodgson prepares to shuffle the pack.

One England supporter is in the Tavern earlier than usual to secure his seat for the big game and he isn’t too concerned with the team selection, stating that the squad is very good and after a long season it is only right to rest certain members of the team.

England supporters, what do you make to the potential line-up? Should we be rotating the team at this stage?
