According to talkSPORT, both Premier League clubs are monitoring the situation of Kwadwo Asamoah, who is unsettled at the current champions of Italy.
The 25-year-old can play either side of defence, central midfield and also looks comfortable playing on either wing, making him a desirable target for both clubs.
The reason why he is currently unhappy in Italy is because he has only made three league appearances this season, with all of them coming from the bench, which has led to his future becoming uncertain.
Punters believe a move to Everton would be more ideal as they have struggled so far this season and injuries to Ross Barkley and Kevin Mirallas have not helped their situation.
With Roberto Martinez hoping that Asamoah’s versatility could be the answer to their problems and could kick start the season, as they have only won once from their seven league games so far.
However, despite Southampton’s brilliant start to the season Punters still feel they have not fully rebuilt their squad after this summer’s clear out and believe there are still gaps to be filled in the side.
