We all agree that 11th hour deals appear to be a growing theme in the Football Transfer Tavern, and Simon Jones of the Daily Mail reckons Fulham are poised to pull off another one.
The Cottagers are looking to hijack a move for South Korea international left back Yun Suk-Young, 22, who is due to join QPR pending a work permit.
Martin Jol has made a late enquiry for the defender, who was reportedly a Manchester City target in the summer. It appears Fulham are using the final days of the transfer window to do their business, with the loan signing of Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong secured yesterday.
Jol will attempt to convince the young full back his future lies at Craven Cottage – news that will not please Harry Redknapp and Fulham’s West London rivals.
Redknapp as expected, has been busy this transfer window, already securing the services of striker Loic Remy and Tal Ben Haim while being linked with a host of other names.
Redknapp is continuing talks with Porto over defender Rolando and Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue as he looks to build a squad capable of surviving the drop.
It is set to be another dramatic deadline day with Redknapp involved, and QPR fans are no doubt hoping their manager will be able to announce some exciting signings from his car window!
