Nottingham Forest will be desperate to build on their last Championship result as they managed to get the better of Brentford at the City Ground.
Martin O’Neill is yet to really ensure consistency at the City Ground as Forest continue to follow up a positive result with a negative one, which certainly hasn’t benefited their play-off push.
Interestingly, Nottingham Forest will travel to the Hawthorns later on tonight to face West Bromwich Albion in their next Championship fixture. The Baggies have their sights set on chasing promotion and they managed to get the better of Stoke City last time out, so they’ll be full of confidence.
The Midlands club received a huge boost ahead of today’s game, as according to the Nottingham Post, Yohan Benalouane and Jack Colback will return to the squad.
Colback has missed the last two games having clocked up 10 bookings, so his return will come as a huge boost as he’s been a big part of Forest’s midfield in the current campaign.
Meanwhile, Benalouane is set to return after being dismissed late on against Birmingham City, so he will look to sure things up at the back after a very strong start to life at the City Ground.
The likes of Benalouane and Colback have played a big part since Martin O’Neill took charge, so it comes as a huge boost that the pair of them are back for what will be an extremely tough game.
Benalouane will need to be at this best to keep Dwight Gayle at bay, while Colback will need to keep things tight and boss the midfield, as the Baggies often enjoy success through the middle.
