Klopp needs to bring Arsenal outcast to Anfield to round off Liverpool’s amazing attack

Our Liverpool fans inside the Transfer Tavern are hoping Jurgen Klopp gets it right in this winter window.

Despite the desperate need to strengthen the Liverpool defence, Klopp insists on being linked with forward-thinking players it seems. Recently, our regulars have been entertained watching the Reds this season with their attacking mentality and, in recent weeks, their keeping of a fair few clean sheets.

Although this way of playing is pleasing to the eye, our landlord can’t see how it will help Liverpool to fill their trophy cabinet and as our barman mentions, all title winners are built from the back.

Despite all this, it looks likely the German will be in for Arsenal’s out of favour winger, Theo Walcott. Having not started a Premier League game yet this season, it seems his Gunners time is over and Anfield would surely be ready to welcome him with open arms.

His former team-mate Alex Oxlaide-Chamberlain made the move in the summer and might welcome teaming up again.

Our glass collector takes a look at why Walcott would thrive at Anfield…
