According to caughtoffside.com, Liverpool are keeping tabs on Lyon striker Lisandro Lopez.
The 28 year-old Argentine has plundered in an impressive 45 goals in 86 appearances for the Ligue 1 side. Although Kenny Daglish has already spent £57m on Andy Carroll and Luis Saurez, the Scot is keen to add another striker to his front line ahead of the push for a Champions League spot.
The former Porto poacher is highly respected across Europe for his goal scoring exploits in Portugal and France and is valued at approximately £15m. Lopez is a player Liverpool fans will be fully aware of, having netted a crucial late goal in the Champions League against the reds to help the French outfit progress to the knock out stages of the competition.
