Our Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern are loving the number of goals their team are scoring on a regular basis at the moment and are hoping that it will continue throughout the season.

The ease in which Jurgen Klopp’s side are demolishing teams at the moment is making them look like a dangerous outfit, despite the early season defensive issues. The Reds seem to have turned things around at the back, having kept a plethora of clean sheets in recent months – and they now sit third in the table of highest scoring teams behind the two Manchester clubs.

Another win for Klopp takes Liverpool back up into the Champions League places as the competition for the top four heats up, with Burnley recently hitting form and surprisingly challenging alongside the Reds, Arsenal and Tottenham as they seemingly battle it out to grab the last spot behind Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea.
