Everton have started to find their feet under Marco Silva and their team looks ready to challenge the big Premier League teams this season.
Turkish outlet Aksam are reporting that Everton are set to raid their closest rivals Liverpool in order to pinch Divock Origi away from them.
Origi is far from a regular at Anfield and Jurgen Klopp would be willing to see the back of him but what a move it could turn out to be for Everton.
What could such an audacious swoop mean for the current Everton team though…
End of the road for Cenk Tosun
The Turkey international has had a very turbulent time at Goodison Park but finally his time in England could be ended with the arrival of Divock Origi.
Tosun was scoring for fun in pre-season but when playing again in the Premier League, he has failed to find his goal-scoring touch like he did at the end of last season and that could lead to his demise in the blue of Everton.
A more free-flowing Everton attack
Alongside the fellow pacey forwards such as Bernard and Theo Walcott, Divock Origi could work a lot better in the Everton team rather than the sluggish Cenk Tosun.
He doesn’t have a turn of pace and this has prohibited the Blues from building attacks in the past, something Divock Origi could amend.
Origi isn’t the finished article but with Everton keen to give him another chance in the Premier League, his best potential could be realised alongside similar players to himself.
