Harry Redknapp is certainly making quite an impact at Loftus Road, not only bringing in new signings but also getting rid of players who aren’t good enough for the Premier League. After sending out Djibril Cisse to Qatari outfit Al-Gharafa to free space on the wage bill, Sky Sports understands today that defender Anton Ferdinand is in talks with Bursaspor over a possible move.
Ferdinand was quite simply appalling during QPR’s 4-2 FA Cup stuffing at the hands of League One MK Dons and that was enough for Redknapp who has now decided to send Anton to Turkey to join up with fellow Englishman Scott Carson.
He had already fallen out of favour under Redknapp at Loftus Road in recent weeks and has not appeared in the Premier League since their Boxing Day defeat to West Bromwich Albion.
The 27-year-old is now discussing a deal with Turkish side Burasapor that will see him move to the continent for the rest of the season.
QPR are set to sign South Korean international Yun Suk-Young later this week, once his work permit is granted and that is thought to have allowed Ferdinand to be shipped out to Turkey.
