Jordan Jones brought some welcome news to Rangers fans with a post on Twitter this afternoon signalling a close return to competitive action.

Jones has been injured since the first Old Firm game of the season when Rangers were defeated 2-0, his injury caused by a late lunge on Celtic right-back Moritz Bauer which saw the Northern Ireland international sent off.
The winger has enjoyed a decent start to his Rangers career with 2 assists so far but it has been his work-rate and attitude that has impressed fans so far, his pace and ability on the counter-attack led to him being, arguably, the man of the match in the Europa League play-off match against Midtjylland.
With Sheyi Ojo out of form and Brandon Barker picking up an injury, Jones’ return would be a welcome sight in the Rangers attack who have yet to see him in tandem with Ryan Kent.
Rangers fans took to Twitter in response to Jones’ tweet hoping it is sooner rather than later before he is back in a Light Blue shirt.
Yaaassss, looking forward to seeing you back 💙🇬🇧
