Rangers: Plenty of fans delighted for Joe Aribo after scoring against Brazil

Rangers midfielder, Joe Aribo, continued his impressive start to international football in Nigeria’s 1-1 draw with Brazil on Sunday evening.
Tough game against a top Brazil side! Team put in a shift till the end. Delighted to have got a goal!! Thank you to all the supporters that came out tonight and also everyone supporting worldwide! 🦅🇳🇬 @NGSuperEagles #SoarSuperEagles pic.twitter.com/kdI6JrN0Mi

Aribo followed up his goal-scoring debut against Ukraine with another, beautifully taken, goal against one of the world’s finest sides, one who recently won the Copa America. After waltzing through the Paris Saint Germain centre half pairing of Thiago Silva and Marquinhos, Aribo calmly slotted past Manchester City goalkeeper, Ederson, to give Nigeria the lead in the first half.
After missing a run of domestic fixtures due to a head injury sustained in the bruising Betfred League Cup fixture against Livingston, Aribo managed a full 94 minutes before being replaced. The international break could be a source of frustration for club managers but Steven Gerrard would surely have been delighted at seeing his man get some valuable minutes and impress against such stellar opposition.
Rangers fans took to Twitter to express their support for their man and share in his pride at his performance for the Super Eagles.
Top goal Joe lad, the rangers family loving you getting caps and scoring goals.
