Manchester United are given the disappointing news by the Mirror in the Football Transfer Tavern that Gareth Bale has no intention of making the £90m switch to Old Trafford in January.
Rumours began to circulate due to Isco’s impressive performance and strong run in the first team whilst the Welsh winger is currently sidelined due to injury.
But Carlo Ancelotti was quick to defend his player and reiterated that the 25-year-old was happy in Madrid.
United fans were praying that a move would materialise as his arrival would undoubtedly transform their season and give them a convincing push for the title.
Bale, who is seen as one of the best players in the world, is said to be reluctant to a move away from the Bernabeu and Madrid have supported the situation by saying they will not sell him.
Ancelotti said: “Bale deserves to play.
“He is one of the best players in the world and a very important player for this team.
“Isco is playing well and we hope he can prolong the good moment he’s in until the end of the season. But he is also compatible with Bale. He’s proved that already: they’ve played together and played well.”
