So last week’s tip just missed out. Blackpool and Fulham to draw was correct but Newcastle couldn’t find a winner against the ultra aggressive Wolves. Some of the tackles that were put in last week (on Joey Barton thankfully) made me wonder whether I was watching Warrington Wolves. They’re a rugby league team for those who don’t know. A play on words you see.
There’s no Premiership football this weekend due to the painfully dull Euro 2012 qualifiers. This creates a bit of a predicament for myself. I wouldn’t claim to be as well up on international football as I am on the Prem. So I don’t want to force anyone to follow my bet this weekend, though now I’ve said that it’ll probably come in.
My best advice to you this week is put £1m on Spain to beat Liechtenstein, you’ll make a profit of 10K!
Failing that, here’s what I’m betting tonight….
Moldova vs. Finland AWAY WIN 11/10 and Slovenia vs. Northern Ireland DRAW 13/5
This double will get you just short of 7/1.
It’s immensely hard trying to find a national team you fancy at long odds so I’m really sticking my neck out and saying that Northern Ireland will get a draw in Slovenia. I’ve great faith in the likes of Jonny Evans, Steven Davis, Chris Brunt and David Healy. Get me a nice sensible draw lads.
Finland should win in Moldova. Moldova failed to win any of their home World Cup qualifiers and even lost to Latvia. Finland have an English coach in Stuart Baxter, come on Stu do the business for me mucka!
Good luck gambling, and no I don’t reimburse you if put the bet on and it loses 🙂
