Mark Noble
The fact that Mark Noble didn’t make it into Hodgson’s England side in favour of a recently returned Jack Wilshere surprised and shocked many fans.
The central midfield position was a tough one to break into for the Euro 2016 squad with Wilshere, Drinkwater, Dier and Ali all fighting for their spot however Noble would not have looked out of place in that side, should he have gotten the nod.
This is a man who has played more Premier League games for West Ham than any other player to ever don the legendary Hammers’ kit.
The 29 -ear old is a very capable and experienced player, he’s just never been given the chance at international level and he’s running out of time to have his chance for the national side.
A surprising addition he would definitely be to Big Sam’s side, but not a bad one by any stretch.
