Away Shirt 2009/10You have to give Everton some credit. When creating this countdown there were several kits to choose from, but you have to almost admire the bravery behind them. Some have been so shocking you can’t help but laugh and then applaud the attempt.

The shirts produced by the likes of Umbro, Puma and Le Coq Sportif down the years have been unique to say the least.

They are clearly not afraid to try new things, with away strips ranging from almost fluorescent pink to bright yellow and black stripes.

Everton is fondly regarded as ‘The People’s Club’ – something the kit manufacturers clearly didn’t take into account when processing these kit designs that have rather infamously graced Goodison Park down the years.

It can’t have been easy for young Everton fans on Merseyside to make their way into school modelling the clubs fairly recent bright pink shirt of a season ago. We all remember how cruel school can be.

One thing is for certain. When the Toffees have taken to the pitch down the years, they have certainly left a lasting impression on supporters eyes with some of the outrageous styles they have brought with them.

Here we take a look at arguably the five worst ever Everton shirts to be produced. Wearing sunglasses may be advisable for some of these fashion disasters where no matter how hard you look, you just cant fathom what was going through the kit suppliers heads as they drew up the initial designs.
