West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis set for summer exit

PulisThe West Bromwich Albion fans are gathered at the bar in The Transfer Tavern this evening, are discussing reports that their manager could be set to leave the club in the summer.

The Daily Express is reporting that Tony Pulis is becoming frustrated with life at The Hawthorns, and is considering leaving the club at the end of the season.

Pulis has seen his side put in many inconsistent performances this season and with abuse now coming from the stands it looks at though Pulis is thinking of walks by before he is pushed.

A divide between the team and the fans was evident on Saturday during their FA Cup defeat to Reading, which saw long serving player Chris Brunt struck by a coin thrown by his own fans an incident, which Pulis himself called barbaric and criminal.

Speaking about his future Pulis said: “Let’s get through the season, let’s sit down and see where we go from there.

“The important thing is to try and keep the club in the Premier League. I’ll sit down with Jeremy and we will take it from there.”

The West Brom fans in The Tavern are not happy that Pulis is considering his future and would like to add that they would like him to remain at the club!
