West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis to splash the cash?

pulis876Our punters here at the Transfer Tavern are hoping that Tony Pulis is about to get a few rounds in, as the Birmingham Mail reports that a few new faces could be heading to the Hawthorns in the very near future.

The article firstly links the Baggies with the promising Cameroon born Swiss youngster, Breel Embolo, who is currently at FC Basel. Apparently, Embolo is turning heads so much, that Albion are having to battle it out with both West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur for his signature, which could also be up to 10 million pounds.

The same publication also links the Baggies with Inter Milan and Japan Wingbank, Yugo Nagatomo. With 81 Japanese caps to his name, Baggies fans would hope that this experience could help them securing a more comfortable Premier League status than they have managed in previous seasons.

Furthermore, given that Pulis often prides himself on solid and organised defensive play, Nagatomo could hopefully bring this to the Midlands, as well as also being able to offer more in attack than previous West Brom full backs might have.

West Bromwich Albion fans…. What do you make of this news? Would you like to see Pulis get his chequebook out and start making some major signings? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
