Big Sam continues his hunt for £1.5m speed merchant Eric Mouloungui according to the Daily Mirror.
Having already had bids turned down for the striker, the West Ham manager remains determined to sign the 27 year old after watching him play in France where the Gabon international impressed. He has spent the past three years playing for Nice and before that with Strasbourg.
Nice remain defiant with chairman Rivere stating,
“West Ham have made an offer that was of no interest to us.”
Moulougui also seems content at Nice but has suggested that his future at the French outfit maybe in doubt.
“I’m happy here but I’m saying nothing because anything can happen between now and the end of the transfer window.”
Should another bid be rejected Big Sam is expected to offer him a loan for the rest of season …the Daily Mirror understands.
