# Wolves: Fans fume as Vitinha starts pre-season training

**Lots of Wolves fans have been left unhappy after some news regarding the future of Vitinha.**

As per [Record](https://www.record.pt/futebol/futebol-nacional/liga-nos/fc-porto/detalhe/vitinha-nas-maos-portistas), the Portugal U21 international has now begun pre-season at FC Porto, casting further doubt over whether the Midlands club will look to sign him on a permanent deal, as their option to buy him for €20m (£17.2m) expired.

Understandably, this has annoyed several members of the Molineux faithful, who have previously [called](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/wolves-transfer-rumours/vitinha-porto-premier-league/) for Vitinha to be signed permanently after he impressed them with some of his performances last term.

The attacking midfield player had the highest pass success percentage (90.3%) out of any of his teammates to have played 10 or more matches in the Premier League in the 2020/21 season ([Whoscored](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/161/Show/England-Wolverhampton-Wanderers)), and at just 21 years of age, he likely still has a lot more that he can offer.
