# Everton: Fans slam Salomon Rondon’s first half display

**Many Everton fans have been slamming the display of Salomon Rondon in the first half of their game at home to Watford in the Premier League.**

Rafael Benitez’s side got off to the perfect start at Goodison Park through a Tom Davies goal but were pegged back shortly after by former Toffees striker Josh King.

His goal sparked outrage among several Blues supporters, who started comparing him to Rondon, and came to the conclusion that the Norwegian would offer more to Benitez’s team.

The Venezuela international was [largely anonymous](https://www.skysports.com/football/everton-vs-watford/446373) throughout the half, recording [very few touches](https://www.sofascore.com/everton-watford/zY) of the ball, as he really struggled – and [not for the first time](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/everton-fc-news/salomon-rondon-west-ham-premier-league/) in an Everton shirt.
