# ‘We deserve better’, ‘Sack Robertson’ – Rangers fans on Twitter hijack club post to vent anger

**The Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern are incensed that Graeme Murty is still in charge at Ibrox. The club tweeted that this week’s *[Rangers Podcast](https://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/official-rangers-podcast-s2-e39/)* features an exclusive sit-down with the head of the club’s academy Craig Mulholland, although the fans have made it clear that they expect a tweet confirming the club’s new gaffer very soon.**

On Sunday, Rangers were thoroughly embarrassed by their noisy neighbours, Celtic in the latest Old Firm clash of the season. The side’s met at Hampden Park for the Scottish Cup semi-final with the winner being guaranteed a place in the final of the competition against Motherwell, who beat Aberdeen 3-0 the day before. It was a day to forget for Graeme Murty’s side though as they were thrashed 4-0, conceding two goals either side of half-time in one of the club’s worst performances of recent memory.

The loss to Celtic has handed Brendan Rodgers’ side the initiative as they look to secure back-to-back trebles for the first time in Scottish history. Rodgers’ has been a rip-roaring success since his appointment at Parkhead, winning every domestic honour available to him so far. The Gers propping our bar up will be hoping they can appoint a manager of similar pedigree as they look to rival the Bhoys in Green for the first time since the 2011/12 season, where they were relegated after entering liquidation.
