# Liverpool: Fans react to latest Timo Werner update

**Will the Timo Werner to Liverpool speculation ever go away?**

The Reds have been linked with the Germany international for what seems like forever (Bild [via Metro](https://metro.co.uk/2019/01/02/liverpool-could-swoop-for-timo-werner-in-bargain-36m-deal-if-he-refuses-new-rb-leipzig-contract-8300356/)). Of course, there is good reason for that – he has [27](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/timo-werner/leistungsdaten/spieler/170527) goals and 12 assists in all competitions for current club RB Leipzig so far this campaign, which makes him one of the hottest marksmen in Europe.

Given his [comments](https://twitter.com/JanAageFjortoft/status/1230254340314673153) in some interviews, it seems that the 24-year-old is eager to make the switch to Anfield, and now there has been another claim that has added more fuel to the fire. [According to Bild journalist Christian Falk](https://twitter.com/cfbayern/status/1255610904273657856), Werner has turned down a move to Bayern Munich as he wants to work with Jurgen Klopp.

As you can imagine, this has the Reds supporters reacting in their droves – they appear to be delighted by this latest update, although one fan did call it a “bold claim”. They have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.
