# West Brom: Fans react to Cedric Kipre news

**According to L’Equipe ([via Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/club-shift-focus-on-west-brom-player-after-examining-aston-villa-defender/)), FC Lorient are interested in signing Cedric Kipre from West Bromwich Albion.**

The Baggies signed the 24-year-old from Wigan Athletic only last September, but he has failed to make an impact at the Hawthorns. In fact, he is yet to make a single appearance in the Premier League, with his only playing time coming via two matches in the League Cup and one in the F.A Cup ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/cedric-kipre/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/364827)).

Now, it seems like he could already be out of the door, albeit on a temporary basis. As per this report, Ligue 1 side Lorient want to take him on loan until the end of the season. They are currently 19th in the French top flight, so he would be joining a similar situation as the one West Brom find themselves in.
