# West Brom: Fans want to sign Duncan Watmore

**West Bromwich Albion fans, it seems, would very much like to sign Duncan Watmore for the Baggies.**

The Hawthorns outfit have been [linked](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-9102777/West-Brom-eager-sign-form-Middlesbrough-winger-Duncan-Watmore-free-transfer-January.html) with a move for the 26-year-old former Sunderland man, who currently plies his trade with Middlesbrough in the Championship. He has impressed this campaign, scoring [five](https://www.transfermarkt.com/duncan-watmore/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/248045) goals and providing one assist in his first eight games for the club, and given he only has a [contract until January 17th](https://www.transfermarkt.com/duncan-watmore/profil/spieler/248045), he could be picked up as a free agent.

Only Burnley and Sheffield United have scored less than West Brom’s [11](https://www.skysports.com/premier-league-table) goals in the Premier League so far this season, meaning that they could do with all the goals they can get – for free, Watmore presents no risk as a signing.

The Baggies fans believe he would be a good arrival, and they have taken to Twitter to urge the club to bring in the former England U21 international.
