# West Brom: Fans react to Filip Krovinovic news

**West Bromwich Albion have been reacting to the news that [Filip Krovinovic is set to cut short his loan at the Hawthorns](https://twitter.com/JPercyTelegraph/status/1350008800703639553) to move to Hajduk Split.**

Krovinovic initially moved to the Midlands on loan from Benfica in the summer of 2019. Last season, he made 40 appearances in the Championship ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/filip-krovinovic/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/261988/saison//verein/0/liga/0/wettbewerb//pos/0/trainer_id/0/plus/1)), scoring three times and providing four assists. That convinced Slaven Bilic to keep him on loan at the Hawthorns.

This campaign, though, he has struggled to have a similar impact on the team. The [£5.85m-valued](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/filip-krovinovic/marktwertverlauf/spieler/261988) 25-year-old has started just [five](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/filip-krovinovic/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/261988/saison//verein/0/liga/0/wettbewerb//pos/0/trainer_id/0/plus/1) of West Brom’s 17 matches in the competitions, and now it looks like he is to move to his homeland in search of more playing time.

The news has attracted plenty of attention from the West Brom supporters, and they took to social media platform Twitter to share their thoughts on the matter.
