The Baggies are set to play the Magpies on Saturday. However, Newcastle’s last match on Friday was [postponed](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/55151090) after it was revealed that there had been a coronavirus outbreak at the club’s training ground. Now, Luke Edwards of The Telegraph has [said](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/12/07/exclusive-newcastle-game-against-west-brom-risk-postponement/) that the next fixture could also be put back after the number of positive tests rose into double figures.

West Brom were on the end of a 5-1 hammering against Crystal Palace on Sunday, and have just [one](https://www.skysports.com/premier-league-table) win in the top flight all season. As such, many supporters seem to believe that a break would do them the world of good.
