# West Brom: Fans hammer Oli Burke

**West Bromwich Albion finally picked up their [first win](https://www.skysports.com/premier-league-table) of the Premier League season on Saturday night against Sheffield United and Oli Burke.**

In what was a huge match for the Baggies and the Blades, it was the former who picked up all three points at the Hawthorns, with on-loan Chelsea midfielder Connor Gallagher scoring the only goal of the match in a 1-0 victory. The win hauls Slaven Bilic and co out of the relegation zone, while Chris Wilder’s side are still rock bottom with just a single point to their name.

However, his finishing was off, and he arguably played a role in Gallagher’s strike.

Burke is [not a popular figure](https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/08/14/west-brom-fans-twitter-oliver-burke-vs-millwall/) in the Midlands following his previous spell at the club, and plenty of West Brom fans were delighted that he was on the losing side.
