# West Brom: Fans react to club tweet showing memorable victory

**A lot of West Bromwich Albion fans are reacting to a tweet by the club which looks back at the great Premier League fixture back in 2017 when they beat Arsenal 3-1.**

It was 1-1 going into half-time, but defender Craig Dawson scored his second of the game to seal the three points after Hal Robson-Kanu’s goal gave the Baggies the lead.

Since then, West Brom have suffered a bad period, having been relegated under Darren Moore back in 2018, but they are currently pushing to be back in England’s top flight, as they sit second in the Championship and six points ahead of Fulham in third, per [BBC Sport](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/championship/table).

With only nine games left, the fate of the club is in their own hands, and fans will be hoping they can bring back great memories like the one against Arsenal if they manage to get promoted at the end of the current season.

Current manager Slaven Bilic has Premier League pedigree, as he managed to finish seventh with West Ham in the division, via [Premier League](https://www.premierleague.com/managers/12115/Slaven-Bilic/overview).

Here’s what fans said about the great fixture:

> This game reminds me of our decline, didn’t win again for the rest of that season then relegated the next season… good result on the day though! [#wba](https://twitter.com/hashtag/wba?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) [https://t.co/Fut45KmllN](https://t.co/Fut45KmllN)

> I miss football so, so, badly. Arrrrggghh! I was enjoying this season so much. Counting the days until the lads played again, often at the Hawthorns twice a week. Properly suffering now.
