# West Brom: Fans react to Reyes Cleary footage

**West Brom shared footage of Reyes Cleary’s Premier League 2 hat-trick on their [official Twitter page](https://twitter.com/WBA/status/1468216635240886275) on Tuesday afternoon.**

And, as to be expected, a number of Baggies fans were quick to give their thoughts on social media.

The 17-year-old has been in fine form for the club’s Under-23 and Under-18 sides this season, netting [16](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/reyes-cleary/leistungsdaten/spieler/746553) goals in 2021/22.

That has resulted in German giants Bayern Munich stepping up their [interest](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10198183/Bayern-Munich-step-Reyes-Cleary-17-year-old-netting-15-goals-13-games.html) in his services, with the Baggies preparing to offer Cleary a first professional contract. Premier League sides Crystal Palace, Newcastle United and Southampton are also keeping [tabs](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10198183/Bayern-Munich-step-Reyes-Cleary-17-year-old-netting-15-goals-13-games.html) on the striker ahead of the New Year.

Cleary netted all [three](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/reyes-cleary/leistungsdaten/spieler/746553) goals in West Brom’s 3-2 win over Middlesbrough on Monday, with the club sharing a link to the highlights on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/WBA/status/1468216635240886275).

### Baggies fans react

This is what these West Brom fans had to say in reply to the club’s [post](https://twitter.com/WBA/status/1468216635240886275), with some urging the club to offer him a contract and one labelling his talent ‘a joke’.

Meanwhile, others are fearful Cleary could be the latest to join Midlands rivals Aston Villa after [Tim Iroegbunam](https://www.avfc.co.uk/news/2021/july/Iroegbunam-joins-Villa/) and [Finn Azaz](https://www.avfc.co.uk/news/2021/july/Azaz-joins-Villa-and-seals-Newport-loan/) swapped The Hawthorns for Villa Park over the summer.
