West Bromwich Albion fans are far from happy after the club’s U23 side were beaten 5-2 by Reading in the Premier League 2 on Friday.
Things are not going fantastically for the Baggies at the moment. Obviously, they are 19th in the Premier League table and 10 points adrift of safety (Sky Sports), and time is running out for Sam Allardyce to try and keep them in the top flight. It seems the youth team is also struggling.
They are currently 12th in the Premier League 2 second tier out of 13 teams. They have won just four of their 12 matches so far this term (flashscore.com), and this heavy defeat will do little to improve the confidence of the up-and-coming youngsters.

The fans were far from happy with the result, which was shared on the club’s official Twitter account, and they took to the social media platform to share their thoughts.
Let’s see what the West Brom fans had to say about the result below
“Even our youth getting 5 shipped past them what’s going ON”
“This is what happens when you treat staff so appallingly that they would rather uproot and take all their collective intel and contacts to our nearest rivals 5 miles away – when we were ahead of them. It’s utter negligence”
“Love seeing consistency in the approach towards all levels at the club Dowling’s decision to make U23s players and staff use a different entrance at the training ground doing absolute bits #WBA”
“Why is our whole club in the mud”
“Is there ever good news from this account?”
