West Brom are 'looking to complete' another last gasp deadline day move as news emerges on Leicester City winger Marc Albrighton.

The Lowdown: Baggies busy...

The Baggies have been busy on deadline day, having already completed the signing of midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah from Fulham on an 18-month deal.

Carlos Corberan has made strengthening his midfield a priority this month with reports suggesting that they are also close to completing a move for Chelsea starlet Omari Hutchinson.

Now, as per journalist Pete O'Rourke, it appears there has been another transfer development at the Hawthorns.

The Latest: West Brom looking to seal Albrighton move...

Writing for Football Insider, the reporter claims West Brom are in advanced talks to sign Foxes forward Albrighton and are 'looking to complete' a 'last-gasp' move.

The deal would be on loan as Corberan, as per the report, may be in need of more attacking reinforcements before 11pm.

The Verdict: Good news..

The 33-year-old looks to be coming to the Hawthorns with real experience and pedigree from years playing in England's top flight.

Albrighton has made 295 appearances for the Foxes in all competitions, scoring 19 goals and registering 47 assists in the process (Transfermarkt).

A trophy-winner, the Englishman was a key member of their 2015/2016 title-winning squad and also played a part in their 2021 FA Cup win over Chelsea at Wembley.

As West Brom chase promotion back to the big time, Corberan could certainly use a presence like Albrighton with both winning pedigree and know-how to succeed in England's top flight.
