West Bromwich Albion fans have been reacting to the news that the Baggies have made a loan offer to Celta Vigo for Okay Yokuslu.
Sam Allardyce is looking to add more reinforcements to his squad at the Hawthorns after already signing Robert Snodgrass (wba.co.uk) and Andy Lonergan. Now, it seems they are after Turkey international Yokuslu, a defensive midfielder currently playing in La Liga.
According to journalist Loic Tanzi, the Hawthorns outfit have approached his current employers in an attempt to loan him. He has also revealed the deal will include a €5m (£4.4m) fee for a permanent transfer if West Brom do manage to stay in the Premier League this season.
Would you like to sign Yokuslu?
The news, which was relayed by Twitter account @WBAReport, has attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters, and they took to the social media platform to share their thoughts.
Let’s see what the fans had to say about the Yokuslu news below
“So we save £4.4m good business”
“Is it me or does it feel like 3 weeks too late? Missed opportunities, or would they have not been able to play against West Ham? Still, time to go Dowling”
“Stop this transfer machine”
“Oh well, that saves us £4.4M then.”
“We might as well try and loan Messi and say we’ll pay them £1bn if we stay up…”
“The fact he hasn’t done too well the past 2/3 seasons but is still head and shoulders better than what we have speaks volumes”
In other news, West Brom fans are unhappy with these Allardyce comments.
