The Baggies have been linked with a move for the 21-year-old as Sam Allardyce looks to adds to his squad on Transfer Deadline Day ([Express and Star](https://www.expressandstar.com/sport/football/west-bromwich-albion/2021/01/31/west-brom-want-two-more-signings/)). The versatile defender, who can play both at centre-back and right-back, has not played a single minute of Premier League football ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/japhet-tanganga/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/346478)) so far this term.

It seems that the Hawthorns outfit are now looking to bring him to the Midlands on a short-term basis. With a matter of hours of the window left, they will need to move quickly to get any deal done, but if they can get it over the line, it could be a valuable addition.
