# West Bromwich Albion: Fans praise Nathan Ferguson after club tweet

**West Bromwich Albion fans were praising Nathan Ferguson after the club’s official Twitter account tweeted a picture of him.**

The praise comes following a solid start to the season for the youth product, who has played both right-back and left-back. [Express and Star](https://www.expressandstar.com/sport/football/west-bromwich-albion/2019/09/15/west-brom-player-ratings-v-fulham/) gave the youngster a seven out of 10 for his performance against Fulham last Saturday.

The 18-year-old has started and finished six of West Brom’s seven Championship games so far this season [(via Transfermarkt)](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/nathan-ferguson/leistungsdaten/spieler/507254). Ferguson averages the most tackles and the fourth-most clearances of any player in Slaven Bilic’s squad this campaign [(via WhoScored)](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/nathan-ferguson/leistungsdaten/spieler/507254).

The West Brom academy player has been at the club since the age of eight, and said in a recent interview he is [‘living the dream’](https://www.expressandstar.com/sport/football/west-bromwich-albion/2019/09/09/nathan-ferguson-living-the-dream-with-west-brom/).
