The 24-year-old, who has [drawn comparisons](https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/who-attila-szalai-thiago-silva-chelsea-transfer-hungarian/blte6b1856181a7c6ee) to Virgil van Dijk, has also been tipped by Hungary boss Marco Rossi to become ‘[one of the best central defenders in Europe](https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/who-attila-szalai-thiago-silva-chelsea-transfer-hungarian/blte6b1856181a7c6ee)‘ soon.

Already building quite a reputation, Szalai’s age and potential marks him out as a very astute target for Moyes and West Ham, especially with the club’s glaring need to strengthen their defensive options.
